Orion Division - Department of Security

As an operational pillar of Sibylla Corporation, Orion Division is the natural entry point for many members. It is where you acquire the Corporation’s shared fundamentals: clear communication, safety procedures, inter-division coordination, and disciplined execution—both in space and on the ground. Once specialized, our agents keep a foothold in Orion to maintain readiness, train regularly, and deploy on multi-discipline operations.

Beyond day-to-day support, Orion Division orchestrates inter-division campaigns that mobilize all available combat forces—fighters, FPS units, and multi-crew assets—in synchronization with Union Astro-Industrie, Transports Interstellaires, and Maeda Genetics. A notable example is the 2951 Xenothreat campaign, conducted with a dedicated C2 cell and support from our intelligence branches. Other theatres, particularly against the Vanduul, are planned; participation in Operation Pitchfork remains under doctrinal and logistical preparation.

On an ongoing basis, Orion Division assesses the Corporation’s capabilities and reports to the Board of Directors on needs for reconnaissance ships, targeting technologies, defensive systems, communications, and electronic warfare—so we can preserve our operational edge. The Division operates within a clear, compliant employment framework: high-risk, sensitive, or out-of-scope actions are redirected to specialized departments or carried out with partners under a formal mandate.

HISTORY

Sibylla’s history is one of a controlled transition—from a primarily military model to an integrated corporate model. Initially structured around vertically assigned objectives and martial-profile units, the organization progressively normalized its activities within the UEE’s legal framework, diversified its operational sectors (Orion Division — Security, Interstellar Transport, Astro-Industry Union, Maeda Genetics Research & Development Institute, Aerospace Sports Federation, Restricted), and replaced the former centralized command with a Board of Directors that safeguards vision, compliance, and long-term strategy.

This shift accelerated with broader recruitment and the richness of incoming profiles. Today, even within Orion Division, heir to the historic core of operations, our members are no longer simply soldiers: they are Corporate associates, bound by the Sibylla Charter. Autonomous in shaping their path in the ’verse, aligned with the Corporation’s objectives, and deployable when circumstances require, they operate under standardized procedures, clear Rules of Engagement, and a culture of interoperability that unifies FPS, dogfighting, and multi-crew operations in service of collective performance.
